Kelly Karavites, Award Winning Producer
Primarily an actor, in July 2013 Kelly Karavites took the extra step to create a film production company with an LLC designation. Achilles Heal Films, LLC was born. Even before the incorporation of the LLC Kelly helped produce 7 short films, 2 feature films, 1 Off Off Broadway play and a music video. Just three short years later he won his first major award as a Producer, Best Feature Film at the Manhattan Film Festival 2016 for Johnny Greenlaw's dark comedy feature film "Mommy's Box".

The Motto of Achilles Heal Films is: "To Entertain, Inform and Heal". Heel appears mis-spelled but it is actually a play on words, namely on Achilles' vulnerable spot when his mother the River Goddess Thetis dipped him in the River Styx.
Long Island International Film Expo : Kelly Karavites of Achilles Heal Films accepts for "Mommy's Box" Winner of the Audience Award July 2016. Karavites Executive Produced the film in association with Director/Writer Johnny Greenlaw's production company "All Things Creative" and on behalf of the cast and crew.
